As a Byrd, you'll play a vital role in finding and onboarding the amazing drivers who make our hyper-local advertising platform soar. We connect local businesses with drivers like you for unique opportunities. 

About Byrd & the Role

  • A: Byrd is a hyper-local advertising platform. We help local businesses get noticed by placing removable magnetic signs on the cars of drivers in their community – that's where you come in!

  • A: As a Byrd Agent, you'll display advertising for a local business on your car. Your main job is to be friendly and approachable, hand out "Chirp-Cards" (info cards) about the business, and direct interested people to the business's website or phone number. You're a connector, not a salesperson!

  • A: Nope! You drive your normal routes. While there are no enforced minimums, being strategic in your day to day travels will help your success

  • A: No problem! Just politely direct them to the business's website or phone number on the Chirp-Card. You're not expected to be an expert on the business, just a friendly connector.

Earning Potential & Payments

  • A: You earn money by referring new customers to the business you're advertising! You get a bonus for every ten scheduled appointments that result directly from your referral (we track this through your unique Agent ID). You also get a tiered bonus for each new client who books and pays for services. It's all about making connections!

    • A: Your earning potential depends on how many referrals you generate. The specific bonus amounts for appointments and new clients are outlined in each Campaign Invitation. Each campaign is different, so you'll always know the potential earnings before you accept. Generally, the new client referral bonus is structured in tiers:

      • Tier 1 (0-20 Clients): $10 per client

      • Tier 2 (21-50 Clients): $15 per client

      • Tier 3 (51+ Clients): $20 per client

    • The more you connect, the more you can earn!

  • A: Each agent will receive a unique code that will be given at signup. Use this code for new client referrals.

  • A: Payments are issued twice a month, on the 5th and 20th. The 5th covers transactions from the 16th to the end of the previous month, and the 20th covers the 1st to the 15th of the current month. We offer various payment methods, including direct deposit. You'll choose your preference during onboarding.

Vehicle & Requirements

  • A: Most vehicles in good condition are eligible. Your car should be clean and presentable. We'll confirm your vehicle's suitability during the application process.

  • A: No, the magnets are designed to be easily removable and won't damage your car's paint if properly applied and cared for. We provide full instructions.

  • A: You'll need a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, a reliable vehicle, and a smartphone. You'll also need to pass a background check.
